Cubic Foot per Minute

A standard measurement of airflow that indicates how many cubic feet of air pass by a stationary point in one minute. The higher the number, the more air is being forced through the system. The volumetric flow rate of a liquid or gas in cubic feet per minute. 1 CFM equals approximately 2 liters per second.
A quiet running 5 cm brushless ball bearing DC motor fan coupled with a high-efficiency blade design is capable of moving 9 CFM (cubic feet per minute) of air. Power is supplied to the fan using a 3-lead TX3 connector that plugs into the motherboard.
Keeping a computer cooled is the best way to increase its efficiency and power. A quiet-running fan can ensure that your computer runs smoothly without disruptive, noisy operation.
